Little Legends Pukete is a centre located in the heart of Pukete. We are licensed for children aged from 0 to 5 with two separate learning areas and two separate outdoor playground areas. At Little Legends Pukete, we’re more than just a centre — we’re a vibrant, joyful world where play leads the way.
Little Legends has a knowledgeable, nurturing teaching team with over 80% of our staff fully qualified early childhood educators. Our teachers are experienced and passionate educators who specialize in providing the best education and care for every child.
Your child’s teachers will discuss their individual needs with you before they start and ask you to fill out our ‘Individual routine and All About Me’ forms. This will help the teachers to learn about your child’s routines and support their transition into the centre.
At Little Legends we have a full-time experienced cook who creates delicious, healthy meals and snacks for our children. We provide morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack for all children. Please speak with the cook or your teachers about any food allergies your child may have.
We believe the transition for children in to the centre is much easier when they are familiar with their new environment. We suggest that you visit with your child in the two weeks leading up to their first day so they have a chance to get to know their new teachers and environment. Visits prior to the first drop off will help your child settle easier.
Little Legends Pukete OSCAR Weekly Programmes are designed to enable children to have a good time playing before going to school. Children who have been at school all day will be welcomed into a family-type structured programme. The programmes are designed to give a variety of activities and choices.
Our programmes are designed to ensure a balance between free-flow play, structured games, quiet time, homework support and responsibility for self and group harmony.
